“Stirnu buks 2019”

On Saturday, August 17, the trail run series “Roe Buck” (“Stirnu buks”) will take place in Ventspils, where participants will compete in 5 different distances and it is planned that there will be a total of 3,000 runners. The start and finish of the race will be at the Beach Waterpark.

11:30 Start for youth trail running championship in the distance "Squirrel"

There will be traffic closures and restrictions due to the race!

Transport movement will be closed:
From August 16, at 21:00 until August 17, at 20:00 on Loču Street from Medņu Street to Parka Street and on Parka Street from Staru Street to Loču Street. 
On August 17, from 11:30 to 16:00 at the intersection of Aizsaules and Vasarnīcu streets.
On August 17, from 12:00 to 16:00 on Saules Street from Krustkalnu Street until the turn of the Old Užava Road to the cemetery.

Transport movementwill be restricted and controlled:

On Vasarnīcu Street near the bicycle path/Mazbānītis crossing.
At the intersection of Vasarnīcu and Grīšļu streets.
On August 17, from 12:00 to 16:00
The turn of the Old Užava Road to Cirpstene Road 3.
On Aizsaules Street near the bicycle path/Mazbānītis crossing.
The trail run will have 5 distances: "Dormouse" ~ 1km race for children under the age of 10, "Squirrel": 5.8 km, "Hare": 13.4 km, "Roe Buck": 21.8 km and "Bobcat": 30.4 km.
