The Museum Ventspils offers you to take part in the game “Catch Your Own Fish!” at the Seaside Open-Air Museum in Riņķa iela 2 on the upcoming weekends on 9, 10, 16 and 17 January from 10:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m.

This open-air game involves walking around the territory of the museum, following certain indications, which can be obtained, scanning the respective QR code. Funny puzzles and activities, promising a marvellous family time, await you on the walking trail, where the big meets small and the ancient meets the contemporary during this chilly winter time. The game ends, after the fish is caught.

The territory of the Seaside Open-Air Museum allows for an insight in everyday life of the ancient residents living in the coastal region of Kurzeme in 19^th/ 20^th century, including a windmill of Parish Užava, smokehouses, smokeries and net huts. The Seaside Open-Air Museum houses the historical Smiltnieki House - a typical dwelling house of the late 19^th century on the outskirts of the city, and the Baptist House of Prayer of Lielirbe.
