The new Tourism Newspaper invites you to enjoy the summer in Ventspils, see the impressive and refreshing fountain "Frigate "Whale"", situated on the square Lielais laukums next to the Concert Hall "Latvija", and spend the hot and sunny days on the Blue Flag Beach. It also gives an insight into the events to be held this summer. 

In the newspaper, you will find further information on the places for walking available in the city of Ventspils and its surroundings, as well as several ways of transport you can use to go sightseeing in the city. One of the most popular places among the locals and visitors of the city is the Ventspils Museum. In the newspaper, you will find more information on the offers and news of the Ventspils Museum. Since the summer is the time for active leisure, the newspaper offers lots of leisure opportunities, including the Cat's Path, trampolines, a track for sliding on inner tubes, a trampoline boat and many other activities available in the Amusement Park. You can enjoy water pleasures also in the Beach Aquapark. In the newspaper, you will also find information on leisure for the entire family, news and the latest events in the city, such as the construction of the Science Centre "Vizium" and the Boat House of the Ventspils Seaside Open-Air Museum, which will be open for visitors very soon - in July of this year.

The new Tourism Newspaper is published in Latvian, Russian, English and Lithuanian, and it is available in the Tourism Information Centre, as well as directly at the sites of tourist attractions. In addition, the readers of newspapers will receive the Tourism Newspaper free of charge as a supplement to the newspapers "Diena", "Privātā Dzīve" and "Kurzemes vārds" in Latvian, the newspapers "Суббота", "Сегодня Неделя" and "MK Latvija" in Russian, and the newspaper "Lietuvos Rytas" in Lithuanian. What is more, the locals will find the Tourism Newspaper for the summer season in their letter boxes.
