As of 7 July 2021, the Oviši Lighthouse, the Užava Lighthouse and the Akmeņrags Lighthouse are open for visitors

As of 7 July 2021, the Oviši Lighthouse, the Užava Lighthouse and the Akmeņrags Lighthouse, managed by the Free Port of Ventspils, are open and are looking forward to receiving visitors.
Pursuant to the established measures to control the spread of Covid-19, only persons who have been vaccinated, recovered from Covid-19 or undergone a test and are able to present a valid certificate, as well as children under the age of 12, are allowed to visit the lighthouses.
The Free Port of Ventspils Authority is in charge of the preservation and maintenance of the Oviši Lighthouse, which is the oldest lighthouse in Latvia, the Užava Lighthouse, which is the most romantic lighthouse, as well as the Akmeņrags Lighthouse, which is located furthest away from the populated areas. Taking into consideration the value of the industrial cultural heritage and the interest shown by general population, the Free Port of Ventspils Authority has made these lighthouses accessible to public.
The oldest lighthouse in Latvia - the Oviši Lighthouse
The Oviši Lighthouse, which is the oldest lighthouse in Latvia, is located on the Oviši headland, 360 m away from the coastline. The lighthouse is still in operation, and it is included in the list of State protected cultural monuments. The height of the tower - 37 m. An interactive exposition is set up in the lighthouse, which allows the visitors to learn about the history and operation of the lighthouse in an exciting way.
The most romantic lighthouse in Latvia - the Užava Lighthouse
The Užava Lighthouse is included in the list of State protected cultural monuments, and it is located approx. 20 km south of Ventspils. The Užava Lighthouse sits on one of the three high wooded dunes, the height of which reaches 28 metres. The height of the tower - 19 m.
The lighthouse located furthest away from the populated areas - the Akmeņrags Lighthouse
Located approx. 80 km from Ventspils, the Akmeņrags Lighthouse can be reached, driving from the side of the river Ziemupe. The lighthouse is the pride of Akmeņrags, as it reveals a breath-taking view of the sea and the surrounding forests. The height of the tower - 38 m.
