The Maestro and Ance Krauze will take the stage of the Concert Hall accompanied by the young violinist Elza Siliņa and the band of musicians lead by Raimonds Macats.

The first part of the programme "The Frozen Sea" features melodies from the performances "Nights of Cabiria" and "Marlene". The second part, on the other hand, features Latvian folk songs arranged by Raimonds Pauls, including eight arrangements of folk songs originated from Alsunga Region, created especially for Ance Krauze.
"Folk songs that I perform from the unique perspective of Raimonds Pauls are a new way of identifying our folklore. Irrespective of the region the narrator resided in or when and who wrote these songs down, they are our common heritage. I feel truly proud and honoured that Raimonds Pauls decided to create arrangements for folk songs originated from my native region," says Ance Krauze.

At the conclusion of the concert, the audience will hear the "golden" songs dating back to the beginnings of the musical collaboration between Raimonds Pauls and Ance Krauze.

Only the visitors who have been vaccinated or have recovered from Covid-19 (including the children/teenagers of all ages) will be allowed to attend the concert, upon presenting an interoperable Covid-19 certificate, an identification document, and a personalized ticket.
