Liepāja Art Forum ’21 - September 24 till 26 - a celebration of contemporary art discoveries
22.09.2021 - 10:10
From September 24 to 26, Liepāja Art Forum ’21 invites audiences to join a celebration of contemporary art discoveries for the seventh time. 10 brilliant events will offer contemporary music, visual and movement art, as well as two performance premieres for families and three cinematic artworks. The festival program features artists from Belgium, France, and Latvia, and it is traditionally organized by Concert Hall Great Amber.

"Following nearly two years spent in isolation and on digital platforms, we will seek answers to questions like whether constant communication means true togetherness, or rather loneliness and sadness? Do we truly share in our joys and sorrows? How do we deisolate? Like anyone else, the team of Concert Hall Great Amber and the Liepāja Art Forum continue looking for creative ways and forms to meet and be together with their audience. The festival is one such opportunity that we will gladly use! We have created a celebration of contemporary art discoveries, this year taking place not only in our amazing concert hall, but in four different locations in the city as well. Let us come together in our deisolation!" invites Baiba Bartkeviča, Artistic Director of Concert Hall Great Amber, who has been creating the festival program for 5 years.
