The Ventspils Photo Calendar 2022 on sale now!

As of 10 December, the Ventspils Photo Calendar 2022 is on sale. The calendar traditionally features beautiful photographs of the characteristic city landscapes, tourist attractions, and city highlights, which remind us of the opportunities to visit them as the seasons change.
The calendar is available at retail in the Ventspils Museum, the book stores "Gaisma", "Globuss A", "Jāņa Rozes grāmatnīca", "Charlot LV", and "Rubīns", as well as the souvenir shop "Ventiņpūrlāde" at the House of Crafts, at the stores "Daba", "Mājai un dārzam" in Celtnieku iela 22, "Eldo" in Durbes iela 38/40, as well as the store "Citro" in Andreja iela 5, Kroņa iela 17, Lidotāju iela 21, Lielais prospekts 26, Poruka iela 16, Saules iela 102, Talsu iela 6, Tārgales iela 63, Robežu iela 130, and in the region - in Ugāle, Pope, and Piltene.
The calendar lists names for each day, national holidays, and commemoration days, as well as the most important events in Ventspils in 2022, the contact details of the most popular tourist attractions, astrological forecasts, etc. In includes both the photographs submitted for the Ventspils photography contest 2021 and a selection of photographs by the local photographers that reflect the most popular leisure and recreation facilities among the local residents and city guests. This year, the Ventspils Photo Calendar surprises everyone with something new - all information is translated into English, which makes it possible to use the calendar also abroad.
Each year, the the calendar is a nice way for the locals to surprise their friends, families, colleagues, and collaboration partners with a wonderful present. The photo calendar presents and also introduces the collaboration partners and guests of the city both in Latvia and abroad. One of the main purposes of publishing the calendar is to capture the attention of the potential city guests through the wonderful pictures and to reveal the beauty of our city, which would make them visit Ventspils.
