Lotte and Jaak the fly will visit Children's Towns

Celebrating the International Theatre Day, on Sunday, 27 March, at 11.00 o'clock at the Children's Town and at 15.00 o'clock at the Children's Park “Fantasy”, Liepāja Puppet Theatre performance “Lotte and Jaak the Fly” will be performed.
Ventspils Culture Centre and actors of Liepāja Puppet Theatre invite to spend a holiday in a family atmosphere together with the courageous dog girl Lotte and her friend Jaak the fly. This performance is at the same time also an engaging game, which gives the smallest spectators a chance to acquire new knowledge.
Lotte and her friends like the most to play and explore something new every day. In her opinion, sleeping is time thrown away. Jaak the fly has a completely different opinion. His mission and main task is to ensure that everybody goes to bed on time and wakes up lively in the morning.
The Chief Director of the Latvian Puppet Theatre Ģirts Šolis says: "Puppet theatre as a form of self-expression is one of the oldest types of art, it can help to understand the world. A puppet serves as an instrument. It is not enough just to show a puppet. A puppet actor has to be like a pianist, who lives in music."
