On Sunday, 1 May, the tour boat “Hercogs Jēkabs” operated by the Freeport of Ventspils Authority will open the season 2022, offering the locals and city guests the opportunity to enjoy the most beautiful harbour views from the bridge “Apvedtilts” to the sea gateway.

The tour boat is one of the most popular tourism highlights and recreational sites in the city. From May to October, it departs from the quay No. 18 in the intersection of the streets Tirgus iela and Ostas iela 5 to 7 times a day. During a 45-minute tour, the visitors have the opportunity to see the mouth of the Venta River, the old part of the city, the industrial area of the Freeport of Ventspils, and the sea gateway.

The tickets are available at the ticket office located beside the quay. Children under the age of 10 are allowed on the boat only accompanied by an adult. The Freeport of Ventspils Authority kindly reminds you that voyages can be cancelled, and the schedule is subject to changes due to unforeseen circumstances, strong wind, or fog.
