The best representatives of Latvian street food will gather in Ventspils this summer

On 22-24 July, the anniversary street sports and culture “Ghetto Games Festival” will take place in Ventspils, informs the portal balticevents.info.
Already for the tenth time world class athletes, amateurs and other lovers of extreme sports will meet in Ventspils at the largest alternative sports and street culture event in the Baltics - "Ghetto Games Festival 2022", informs the portal balticnews.info.
Within the framework of "Ghetto Games Festival", also this year "Ghetto Food" festival will be organised, gathering the best Latvian representatives of street food at the skate park.Over a period of three days, countless kilos of French fries and succulent pulled meat for burgers will be fried, vegetables cut, sauces mixed, refreshing beverages cooled and alcohol-free cocktails made.

A novelty of this year - pizzas baked in a wood stove, using flour and various types of cheese, delivered directly from Italy. The best kebab in home-baked bread in Riga, as well as masters of vegan and vegetarian dishes with their burgers, wraps, grey pea falafels, local tofu and other dishes. For fish lovers - fish & chips, salty crepes with tuna or shrimps.
Special surprises will be prepared for the smallest visitors of the festival, offering various sorts of ice cream, summery ice cream cocktails, sweet crepes or Belgian waffles.As reported by organisers of the festival, the programme of the anniversary festival will be yet supplemented with multiple activities and new sports disciplines.
