2nd July | Summer night car photo orientation in surroundings of Ventspils

On Saturday, 2 July, everyone is invited to try something completely unusual - car photo orientation in the dark, using a standard motor road map and a flashlight in your pocket.
In the dark of the night, when everything seems weirder and spookier, you will have to find control points of various levels of complexity using only a flashlight and car lights, and take a photo at these control points.
For receiving additional points, you will have to solve the "quiz" of Ventspils city and complete different other tasks. You will be given 4 hours for completing all these tasks. Handouts will be sent to each team digitally to the registered WhatsApp number at the moment of the team's start.A team will be allowed to start the adventure at any convenient location within the race region, starting from 22.45 - 00.15.

The finish is set at 4 hours after the start at any place. All that you need for the race: a passenger car of any make and colour, at least two persons in the team, digital camera or/and smartphone, recommended road map of Ventspils and surroundings or North Kurzeme (the map handed out will be without scale), ruler, divider (for calculating the hidden point), good flashlight for lighting, reflective vest for the photographer, comfortable footwear and good mood.All the information about the race and registration of teams is available on www.nakts.braucies.lv.
