An online booking and payment system has been introduced to allow the visitors of the Ventspils Science Centre VIZIUM to purchase tickets online and to book their arrival at a specific time, thus ensuring that they will not have to wait in line when arriving at the Science Centre.

Visitors can make their bookings on the website www.vizium.lv and via the mobile app "Bookla". The app is available for Android and iOS in four languages - Latvian, English, Russian, and Lithuanian. Payments can be made using online banking or by credit card. During the initial booking, visitors will be asked to register by entering their phone number, name, e-mail, and password, which will take only a short while. After the registration, the clients will be able to receive a reminder of the visit, to leave a review, and to receive future notifications and news about the Science Centre. Two arrival times are offered for booked visits to the exhibition hall - from 10:00 a.m. and from 2:00 p.m. Each time slot offers 50 tickets.

Tickets online can not only be purchased for the exhibition hall but also for science shows and creative workshops. Tickets purchased online must be registered at the Science Centre, at a separate counter installed for this purpose, thus allowing the visitors, who have purchased tickets online, to skip the line to purchase a ticket.
