Motorbikes Roar again at the "Kurland Bike Meet 2023"

From 14 to 16 July, Ventspils will host "Kurland Bike Meet 2023", one of the largest motorcycle events in the Baltic States. During this traditional gathering of motorcyclists, everyone will be able to discover the latest news, lifestyle and travel opportunities in the world of motorcycling.
On the opening day of the event, Friday 14 July, the Ventspils Seaside Campsite will host a motorbike gathering, which is expected to attract a few thousand motorbike owners from all over the Baltics and other European countries. The concert will start at 19.00 with the Latvian band "Let it Burn" and at 21.00 with the Lithuanian "Noisy Party".
On Saturday, 15 July, at 15.00, the parade will start from Vasarnīcu Street, proceeding along Lielais Prospekts, Venta Bridge, Embūtes, Celtnieku, Talsu, Lidotāju and Dzintaru Streets, riding along the right bank of the Venta River. The route will then go from the Venta Bridge to Sarkanmuižas Dam, Brīvības, Kuldīgas, Jūras and Vasarnīcu streets, ending in the new part of the Ostas Street Promenade (the section parallel to Kr.Valdemāra Street). This time, the parade will also include a special tricycle and sidecar ride.
From 15.40, a concert by the Finnish band "Rocking group" will take place on the waterfront, in the square opposite Theatre House "Jūras vārti". The motorbike riders will demonstrate their iron steeds to the accompaniment of rock hits, and will also introduce those interested to the latest news from the motorbike world.
During the "Kurland Bike Meet" from 12.00 to 17.00 at the Ventspils Seaside Camping, you will have the opportunity to watch and follow the beach volleyball tournament "Cup of Hermes".
In the evening concert programme from 17.00 in the Seaside Camping, the Latvian band "Montana", the Finnish band "Rocking group" and a DJ will set the mood for the event. There will be various competitions and fun activities, karaoke by "Frīdis@Co", snacks and refreshments.
The motorcycle gathering is organised by the "Latvian Motorcycle Club Association" and the Ventspils State City Municipality.
