European Museum Night in Ventspils

European Museum Night is an international museum event that has been taking place in many European countries since 2005. Alongside traditional exhibitions, various special events are held, including creative workshops, concerts, and theater performances. The event typically runs from Saturday evening until the early hours of Sunday morning. Admission to museums during the event is free of charge.

20:00 - 01:00 Open courtyard of the castle: live fire, medieval instruments of torture, fortune teller, castle tavern delicacies, hot drinks. 
21:00 - 01:00 Livonian Order Castle is open. 
21:30 - 22:00 Movement performance "Venturing into the Unknown", performed by Beatrise Anda Ozoliņa, Justīne Vaivode, Laura Feldberga. 
21:00 - 23:00 Castle exhibition and large exhibition hall are open, playing the orientation game "Dig Deeper!", searching for important archaeological finds and castle wall secrets in the castle exhibition. For interested groups (up to 10 people), an offer to visit: 
21:00 Restorer's workshop; 
21:30 Museum storage; 
22:00 Museum library; 
23:00 - 01:00 Movement performance "Venturing into the Unknown", performed by the young vocalists and pianists of the Music Middle School. 
23:00-23:30 In the castle chapel will perform: Endia Auna, Elīna Bērziņa, Vanesa Līga Rozentāle, Līva Rozenberga, Roberts Barkāns. 
23:40 - 00:30 In the castle atrium will sing: Laura Mitlere, Magone Pujēna, Kate Elza Freimane, Emīlija Reitere. Teachers - Gatis Poriņš, Rinalds Kandalincevs. Concertmasters - Irina Kušnirenko, Liene Circene, Endijs Renemanis. 
00:30-01:00 Movement performance "Venturing into the Unknown" in the castle atrium. Performed by Beatrise Anda Ozoliņa, Justīne Vaivode, Laura Feldberga.

22:00; 23:00 Tableware. Table culture of the 20th century. 60s-70s. Told by Ieva Pastore, tableware collector. 
22:20 Author Kristīne Ulberga reads a story about table culture. Premiere!
