Lambert in Ventspils
02.10.2024 - 15:46
he German composer and pianist Lambert will kick off his European tour at the "Latvija" concert hall, presenting his latest album Actually Good to the audience.

Lambert is a pianist and composer from Germany. His visual stage persona is mysteriously poetic, which enhances the meditative, impressionistic piano playing that blends classical, jazz, and pop music sounds, making it even more distant and enchanting.
Lambert is unique not only because he performs wearing a leather mask made in Sardinia, and no audience has ever seen his face. The music Lambert creates breaks conventional listening habits-it requires time, rest, patience, and concentration, allowing listeners to gradually immerse themselves in the music, as if sinking into a pile of soft pillows.

In the concert in Ventspils, Lambert will perform alongside Luca Marini (drums) and Felix Weigt (double bass). This will be the musicians' first visit to Latvia, where they will perform their most well-known compositions.
