The Ventspils Tourism Information Centre (TIC) offers new tourism information materials – brochures and maps that introduce the latest updates in the city, the most popular attractions, and the major events of 2025.

The Ventspils Tourism Information Centre (TIC) offers new tourism information materials - brochures and maps that introduce the latest updates in the city, the most popular attractions, and the major events of 2025.
The 2025 tourism brochure, "Ventspils - A Family- and Leisure-Friendly City", has been published in Latvian, English, Russian, Lithuanian, and German. Meanwhile, the tourism maps present information in a more convenient format for travelers and are available in English, Russian, and Lithuanian.This publication provides a brief insight into the city's history, opportunities for active recreation, nature tourism, wellness and health tourism, as well as cultural and entertainment offerings. It also includes a calendar of the major events in Ventspils for 2025.The published materials feature a city map highlighting key attractions, public amenities, parking areas, and cycling routes, which now span over 70 km throughout the city.This spring, the most anticipated addition of the year - Velopark - will open in Reņķa Garden. It is designed for cyclists, rollerbladers, skateboarders, and scooter riders. The track is divided into two difficulty levels: the northern section for beginners and children, and the southern section for experienced riders looking for tricks and jumps. The landscaped surroundings with greenery and rest areas make it a great place for active recreation.The publication also highlights the newly opened Ventspils Seaside Open-Air Museum building, which showcases the daily life of coastal residents in Kurzeme, reflecting the traditions of Latvian and Livonian farmers and fishermen. The museum's collection now includes over 24,000 exhibits.Since late summer 2024, Ventspils Adventure Park has featured a Disc Golf Park, offering a great way to combine outdoor activity with an exciting sport. The park is equipped with 18 baskets and is accessible free of charge all year round, at any time.Meanwhile, the Jungle Trail in Jūrmalas Park has become even more exciting, with the addition of a new play structure, 15 environmental objects, and a refurbished trail surface, enhancing the walking experience for visitors.The information materials are distributed both internationally and in Latvia - at international tourism fairs, events, and major city festivals. Tourism brochures and maps are available at the Tourism Information Centre on Dārzu Street 6, as well as at major city attractions, including Livonian Order Castle, Water Adventure Park, Adventure Park, Ventspils Main and Pārventa Libraries, the Innovation House, the Theatre House "Jūras Vārti", and more.
