In Ventspils, the Kurzeme Business Forum will be held on the impact of artificial intelligence on education and business

On Wednesday, May 28th, everyone is invited to the Kurzeme Business Forum "Artificial Intelligence – the 4th Industrial Revolution," which will take place at the "Latvija" concert hall. The forum will bring together entrepreneurs, local government representatives, university staff and students, as well as technology experts, to discuss the importance of education and the impact of artificial intelligence on business.

In the first part of the forum, attention will be focused on the role of higher education in the age of artificial intelligence (AI). The development of Ventspils University of Applied Sciences in this context will be discussed, seeking answers to crucial questions: how will the education system adapt to new requirements? Which professions will remain relevant, and which will change? During the discussion, we will also focus on the synergy between AI and cybersecurity in studies.

In the second part of the forum, we will address the question - is AI needed in companies? We will explore the legal regulations and state support mechanisms for such innovations. Entrepreneurs will share their experiences, and we will also learn about the most common myths and the real situation in the Latvian economy regarding AI. At the end of the discussion, we will look into the development opportunities of ports in the era of AI. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in valuable discussions and networking sessions. Although the forum will be conducted in Latvian, the company SIA Tilde, with the help of AI technology, will provide simultaneous translation in any language.
