Ventspils Tourist Information Centre (TIC) has published its annual edition - "Ventspils Tourism Newspaper 2025." It provides information about the city's major events, tourism, leisure and entertainment opportunities, the most scenic places to visit, as well as new additions to Ventspils' tourism offerings in 2025.

On April 12, 2025, Ventspils proudly opened the most modern bike park in the Baltics - a multifunctional active recreation facility featuring two asphalt tracks for riders of different skill levels and an adventure track designed for safe cycling skills development. The track is also suitable for competitions. Admission is free. Ventspils also welcomed a new indoor play and activity center for children - "Dream Land" - one of the largest entertainment centers in the Kurzeme region. Spanning 730 m², it can accommodate up to 80 visitors at a time, offering an obstacle course, tube slides, traditional slides, a ball pit, trampolines, a climbing wall, and a carousel. There's also a toddler corner, a mother's room, a candy shop, and party rooms available. There are also updates on the right bank of Ventspils - by the end of May, a new section of pedestrian and bicycle path will open, connecting the center of Staldzene to Lake Būšnieki. A new car park is also being developed near the boat base. The new swimming area by Lake Būšnieki has been adapted for people with mobility impairments, featuring a special ramp and an adapted wheelchair, available upon prior request from the Deer Park (Briežu dārzs). The surrounding area also offers a nature trail, viewing platform, boat and SUP rentals, picnic spots, and outdoor workout equipment. The "Tourism Newspaper 2025" provides a seasonal overview of the latest tourism opportunities, from spring to winter.
  • Spring invites visitors to stroll through blooming parks and explore museum branches such as the Livonian Order Castle, the Crafts House, the new exhibition hall of the Seaside Open-Air Museum, and the Fire Control Tower of the 46th Coastal Battery.
  • Summer offers the Port Promenade, Blue Flag beach, romantic walks to the South Pier, and family fun at the Beach Water Park, Adventure Park (including the new disc golf course), the revitalized Jungle Trail in the Seaside Park, and other playgrounds.
