Discover Ventspils on the move: a free interactive activity for walkers and cyclists

Ventspils Digital Center, in cooperation with Ventspils Tourism Information Center, continues the activity started last year, inviting everyone to actively explore the city's most important cultural and historical sites. Participants must go for a walk or bike ride and, using a smartphone, search for various sites and complete tasks, discovering interesting facts about the history, culture and national values ​​of Ventspils and Latvia.

The activity will take place from April 28 to May 10.. You can participate at any time convenient for you. This time, two routes will be offered to those interested - for walkers and a wider route for cyclists. Participation in the activity is free!

To participate in the activity, you need a smart device with an internet connection, location detection turned on, and the ActionBound app must be installed on your smart device (phone or tablet). The starting point of the activity is the Ventspils Digital Center at Akmeņu Street 3, where participants will be able to receive initial instructions. (look for instructions in the shop window) and go on an exciting city adventure!Upon completing all tasks, participants will receive a key code that will confirm the successful completion of the route. With this key code, they must go to the Ventspils Tourism Information Center (Akmeņu Street 5), where small commemorative prizes will be waiting for participants.Tourist Information Center opening hours:

Opening hours during the holidays: May 1st 10:00 - 15:00; May 2nd 10:00 - 16:00, closed on May 3rd and 4th.
