This roundabout route along the banks of Venta will take you out of and bring back to the city centre.

The route starts at Big Square and then continues along Kuldīgas Street following the direction leading to an eponymous city - Kuldīga. On your way, you'll have a chance to see the Reņķa Garden, Museum of H. Dorbe, and Gāliņciems Public Centre.Take a turn to Tērauda Street to see a picturesque view over the Venta river. At Virves Street, you can see the Dampeļi Rowing Centre and a little ahead of it - a nature preserve "Dampeļi Outcrop"Approaching a place for rest near the Venta river, you may not only to take a breath, but also to swim and have a picnic. Families with children may take a little detour to visit the playground known as "Wonderland" ("Brīnumzeme").When riding back to the city's centre through industrial neighbourhoods, take a look at the Ventspils Science Centre "Vizium" at the end of Rūpniecības Street and don't miss the only bascule bridge in Latvia - the Venta Bridge.Then, making your way along the Lielais prospekts, you will see one of three huge cow sculptures - the Flower Cow.
