The first straw workshop in Latvia. Here you can find artworks that have been made with heart and soul, and it can be sensed in all works carefully made of straw by the Rītiņu family – Kristīne, Juris, and Ieva Elizabete

A broad range of decorative straw figures and souvenirs can be seen on display here: gnomes, dragons, devils, witches, frogs, hares, cats, and many more. The artworks are made of 100 % ecological materials: straw, dried grass, and other similar environmentally friendly and safe materials. The created characters are unique and made in various sizes. They are hand-made, original, of high quality and a beautiful artistic presentation. Each visitor to the workshop will find something interesting and useful for themselves and little presents for their friends and family.

Straw workshop is a place where everybody can try their hand in creating something individualy, together with family members, or in groups(up to 45 children or 30 adults). Here, visitors can obtain the first skills in working with sraw and hay, it is possible to create various straw/hay animals, dolls, ect. Straw workshop provides its visitors with training and raw materials. Each visitor can take their creation with them.
