Art gallery "The Door" offers monthly displays of new free-of-charge exhibitions, works of applied art for purchase, and paintings and souvenirs as a memory from Tukums.

Art gallery “The Door” was opened in 1988. Initially it was a salon of the group of artists from Tukums, which gradually became an indispensable part of the old town of Tukums. The gallery specialises in setting up exhibitions, selling works of art and offering consultations on art purchase.

The aim of the gallery is to extend the availability of contemporary works of art to the possibly broader society. It promotes not only the creative work of the already distinguished Latvian artists and masters of applied arts but also the artistic attempts of young aspirants.
