The collection is owned by Mr. Alfrēds Zamockis, a motor sports racer and trainer.

He is a legend among motorbike racers and has even been nicknamed "the Flying Indian". Some years ago he had moved to Pastende, and the Talsi district had the luck to get a retro motorbike exposition. The oldest motorbike exhibited in Pastende had been produced as long ago as 1925.
