Ventspils Museum waits for its visitors on the International Night of Museums on the 19th of May

The Ventspils summer tourism and cycling season will be traditionally opened with a splendid cycle ride at the Ventspils Adventure Park on Saturday, May 12, at 11:00 AM.

The steam fog is rising above the Mill Pond (Dzirnavu dīķis), surrounding the Grobiņa Fortress with an enigmatic veil. Far away the sea is singing, somewhere it smells of lavender, the sound of Vikings' voices and horse neigh can be heard.

The energy. Tons of positive energy from the whole experience. From events swept here from all over the world, from food that delights the belly, from hotel beds you can dive in only to emerge in late afternoon and, of course, from its’ winds and the sea.

Every Sunday at 14.00, at the information desk of the concert hall “The Great Amber” Liepāja guide, whom you will recognize by holding the red-green Liepāja flag, will meet everyone who wish to have 1,5 hour walk in the old city streets together, learning more about its history and cultural charm.

Travelers at Kurzeme stand will be able to get acquainted with the newest and most favorite tourist attractions, as well as, with the most vivid events! At the exhibition it will be possible to feel the sense of the 19th century, to send a surprise card or to try your luck in virtual games, try the new app’s, or to meet people from Kurzeme.

On Friday, May 30 when residents and visitors are ready to spend a summery evening in the city, Ventspils parks and squares will feature movies and live music of various genres, inspiring everybody to join in for a walk and come into the light of eventide.
