On Friday, 18 August, at 19.00, the concert programme “Moon Music and Poetry” will be performed by violinist Azadeh Maghsoodi (Iran, Germany), actress Rēzija Kalniņa and pianist Andis Paegle (Germany).

Ventspils City Festival events are planned from 4 to 6 August. This year the City will celebrate 700+33.

The four-year anniversary concert of the Concert Hall “Latvija” will feature accordionist Ksenija Sidorova, pianist Reinis Zariņš and organist Aigars Reinis. Musicians with international musical experience and renown, multiple winners of the Great Music Award will form an unprecedented keyboard trio, in which you will hear not only the sound of accordion and concert piano, but also acoustic organ and 470i upright piano.

From 21 to 23 July, Ventspils will host the 11th annual “Ghetto Games Festival” of street sports and culture. The event will bring together athletes, amateurs and other extreme sports enthusiasts of many levels in Ventspils – the largest alternative sports and street culture event in the Baltics, informs the portal balticevents.info.

From 14 to 16 July, Ventspils will host "Kurland Bike Meet 2023", one of the largest motorcycle events in the Baltic States. During this traditional gathering of motorcyclists, everyone will be able to discover the latest news, lifestyle and travel opportunities in the world of motorcycling.

Starting from July, SIA “Kurzemes filharmonija” offers twice a week guided tours of the Concert Hall “Latvija”. During the tours we offer to see the premises, learn about the history of the Concert Hall, the secrets of the building, its furnishings, unique instruments and extensive possibilities.

This year Ventspils will celebrate the Sea Festival on 1 July. Due to renovation works on Ostas Street Promenade, the Festival will be located in a new part of Ostas Street Promenade, parallel to Kr.Valdemāra Street with the wonderful buoy exhibition, the pilot ship “Rota”, the “Love Lighthouse” and the environmental object “Propeller”.

Soon we will celebrate Summer Solstice, weave Midsummer wreaths together, welcome the shortest night of the year, sing songs by a lit bonfire and have a party all over Latvia. From June 16 to 18 the Latvian stage of the FIA European Rally Championship "Tet Rally Liepāja" with ten high-speed tracks will take place in Tukums, Talsi, Kuldīga, Liepāja and Southkurzeme region.
