From July 31 to August 3, the city of Ventspils will celebrate its 700+35th anniversary! For four festive days, the city will come alive with a rich program of events. Locals and visitors will enjoy vibrant concerts, exhibitions, art performances, a festive parade, a glowing street art open-air gallery, Book Festival, sports activities, and the grand finale – fireworks at Ostas Street Promenade.

The highlight of the Ventspils City Festival will take place on the evening of August 2 at Ostas Street Promenade, where the grand closing concert “735 White Thoughts” will be held — a vivid and dynamic music program leading everyone into a shared festive experience before the fireworks.

From July 11 to 13, Ventspils will host the grand and now traditional motorcycle gathering “Kurland Bike Meet 2025.” This is one of the largest and most anticipated motorcycle events in the Baltics, attracting thousands of participants and spectators from Latvia and other countries every year.

The Ventspils Market invites everyone to the Sea Festival Fair, which this year will take place over three days – from July 4 to 6. From July 18 to 20, Ventspils will host the Ghetto Games Festival (GGFEST), which will take place for the thirteenth time this year and gather more than 1,000 participants from 30 countries across 18 sports disciplines.
